An angry housewife, Mrs. Doris Unekwu, has filed a suit before a Customary Court in Jikwoyi, Abuja, the Federal Capital teritory, seeking for the dissolution her marriage to her husband, Mathias  Unekwu, for denying her sex.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the embittered woman, Mrs. Doris, has told the Court that her husband, Mathias, preferred to masturbate in order to satisfy his sexual desires and abandoned her by not performing his obligation as her husband.
She wants the Court to dissolve their marriage so that she will move on with her life and probably get another man that will satisfy her sexual desires.
The embattled Abuja-based businesswoman, Mrs. Doris Unekwu, filed the suit on the grounds of denial of her conjugal rights and accused her husband of engaging in masturbation, physical and psychological abuse and denying her of her conjugal rights which has caused her much pain.
“My husband has long stopped having intimacy with me; I have done all that I can, but he still will not. On one occasion, I caught him masturbating and when I asked him why, he said he saw something online that he wanted to practice,” she said.
“My husband is constantly physically abusing and harassing me in front of our children. Any little provocation my husband would immediately slap me and follow it up with endless abuses,’’ she said.
The petitioner prayed the Court to grant her the custody of their only child and dissolve the marriage.
However, the respondent, Matthias, who is also a businessman, denied the allegations.
The Presiding Judge, Mrs. Thelma Baba, advised the couple to explore possible means of reconciliation and  further the matter 31st January, 2024, for mention for report of settlement or hearing over the matter.
