How 2 Gunmen Invaded Deeper Life Church, Kidnapped & Robbed Female Pastor 

Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested two suspects for allegedly kidnapping and robbing a female Pastor, Imubhin Juliet, of the Deeper Life Bible Church in Benin City.

P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor, who confirmed that the suspects were in Police custody undergoing interrogation over their alleged conduct.

He stated that the suspects were arrested by operatives of the Command’s Crack Team along Benin-Auchi Road while acting on a tip-off two days after the incident.

He stated: On 14th April, 2024, at about 0900hrs, one Imubhin Juliet, a Pastor of Deeper Life Bible Church, reported that she and some members were in a church service when suddenly three armed men walked into the church with guns and robbed them of their valuables”.

“She further reported that she was abducted by these armed robbers and taken away in her Toyota Highlander SUV to an unknown destination, where they forced her to disclose her ATM pin, which they used to syphon her money.”

“On 16th April, 2024, the operatives of the Command Crack Team while acting on the report from the victims, intercepted the stolen Toyota vehicle with the said hoodlums along Auchi Road, while the vehicle and their weapons were recovered from them.”

“Suspects made confessional statements and confessed to the crime. My advice to worshippers. Please be very vigilant and take notice of everyone who comes around who is disguised as a worshipper.”

“Employ the services of security who will take charge of the church premises to forestall any unfortunate incident.”

He stated that the suspects will be charged before the Court for the alleged offence but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police. The Police however, are said to be making efforts to apprehend the suspects now at large.
