How Landlord’s Son, 28, Killed Female Tenant, 42 & Cut Body In Pieces

Police operatives from the Ondo State Command have arrested a 28-year old landlord’s son Fatai Bakare, for allegedly killing a 42-year old female tenant, Onyimi Grace, cutting the corpse into pieces, packing the body parts inside a bag and dumping same in an uncompleted building. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ore town in Odigbo Local Government Area of the State, where they reside.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, who confirmed that the suspect was an ex-convict and committed the dastardly act on 8th December, 2023 and escaped before he was arrested.
“On the 8th of December, 2023, at Ore Division in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, it was reported that one Onyimi Grace, 42 , was found dead and concealed in a Ghana must-go bag in an uncompleted building close to the house and the landlord’s son, Fatai Bakare, 28, was strongly suspected because he had blood stains on his leg.”
“The Police swiftly visited the scene but the suspect had absconded. The suspect was later arrested the next day on his way to Ode Irele town in Irele Local Government Area of the State.”
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect is an ex-convict and an internet fraudster. The blood-soaked clothes found in his house were the clothes he wore on the said day.”
The image maker stated that the suspect will  be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Command for further investigations on the matter and the suspect will be charged before the Court for the alleged murder. But that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
The suspect risks life imprisonment if he is found culpable for murder and convicted for the alleged offence.
