How Man, 29, Fondled Breasts, Lured Girl, 13, Into S*x Romp

Police operatives from the Lagos State Command have arrested a 29-year old man, Victor Emmanuel, who allegedly lured a 13-year old girl into sex romp by fondling her breasts, getting her  confused and unable to resist the temptation. 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Dada Oseni Street, Ilasamaja area of Lagos, where they reside.

The Police alleged the suspect to have lured the girl into his apartment, engaged her in a discussion before he started fondling her breasts and she became confused. In that state, he eventually engaged her in sex without any resistance from her. 

It was after he had satisfied himself that the girl regained her senses and reported what happened to her parents, who then reported the matter to the Police in the area over the conduct.

The Police arrested and later transferred him to the Gender Section of the Command for interrogation, where he reportedly admitted to have slept with the girl but with her consent as she never resisted.  

However, that was not enough to justify his action as the Police found him culpable. He was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

When he was arraigned, the Court declined to take his plea following a motion moved by the Police prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice. 

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Layinka, ordered his remand in custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP. 

The matter was adjourned till 12th July, 2022, for mention for the DPP’s report to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
