A 30- year old man, Wale Samuel, has allegedly killed a 26-year old club lady, Jennifer Dan, during a squabble over sex in a Lagos hotel room and escaped.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened in a popular hotel in Ikotun area of Lagos, where Samuel had booked the late Jennifer Dan for sex romp.

The suspect, Samuel, having discovered that he had killed Jennifer, secretly opened the door and escaped that night. And in the morning, the hotel management went to the room only to find the lady dead.

The matter was reported to the Police at Ikotun Division. The Police moved into action, retrieved the corpse and deposited at an undisclosed hospital for autopsy report. The Police traced the suspected killer, Samuel and eventually arrested him.

This was confirmed by the PPRO of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, who hinted about the arrest of the suspect.

He stated that the suspect had already confessed to the Police but did not reveal why he killed the lady, who was said to have come to the hotel with him for the romp.

He stated: “On  11th September, 2023, at about 11.a.m., one Solomon reported at the Ikotun Division that at about 8:00a.m., same day, Dan, one of his lodgers was found to have been killed in her hotel room by a 30-year-old man seen last with her”.

“Based on the report, a team of detectives was mobilised to the scene, and the deceased was seen lying on the floor with her stomach pierced with a scissor.”

“Her remains were evacuated, and the suspect arrested at his hideout in the Ikotun area. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for further investigation.”

The Police image maker stated that the suspect will be charged before the Court for the alleged murder under the Criminal law of the State, which attracts life imprisonment but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
