A 39-year-old labourer, Mohammed Ibrahim, has revealed how he killed and cut off a 2-year old baby’s head in order to sell to a buyer for N120,000 but the buyer eventually failed to pay.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ofada town, Owode Egba, Abeokuta in Ogun State, while the mother of the baby, Rabi Yakubu, went to a nearby bush to ease herself.

According to the mother of the deceased baby, she wanted to ease herself when the suspect, Ibrahim, attacked her with a knife, she was able to escape but left her baby behind.

Unknown to Mrs. Yakubu, the baby was Ibrahim’s target. And so when she escaped, Ibrahim pounced on the poor baby, cut off the head and took it to his customer to pay their agreed amount.

However, the customer failed to pay and Ibrahim eventually went and buried the head in a shallow grave after the failed deal.

The incident was reported to the Police, who trailed and eventually arrested Ibrahim over the dastardly act.

He confessed and took the Police to the grave where he had buried the victim’s head after his customer failed to pay.

Having been found culpable, he was subsequently charged before the Abeokuta High Court for murder.
The Court, which tried and found him guilty for murder, then sentenced him to death by hanging over the murder of the innocent baby.

Does human life worth anything valuable to these conscienceless ritualists & their killer agents. It is a judgement well given, though it will not ameliorate the mother’s loss, grief or emotional trauma.
    May God help us.
