Facts have emerged how a 50-year old married woman, who died during sex romp with her 48-year old married lover in his matrimonial home, was secretly dumped on the roadside in order to hide the adultery mess.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Obada Oko area of Abeokuta, Ogun State, where Taiwo resides.

The lover, Segun Taiwo, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command in order to explain how a lover he took to his matrimonial home for an overnight affair died in the process.

The man was said to have brought the deceased lover home after his wife travelled to pass a night with him. But during the sex romp, which was said to have lasted for several hours, the deceased became sick and died in the process.

With the attendant shock and panic over her death, the man, Taiwo, secretly carried the corpse and dumped her on the roadside, which gave suspicion that he may have killed the victim during the romp.

The Police Command stated that it had arrested Taiwo, who is a butcher, in connection with the death of his lover, whose corpse was found by the roadside at Aro area of Abeokuta.

This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, in Abeokuta on Monday.

Oyeyemi said that the suspect was arrested following information received at the Lafenwa Divisional Headquarters that the corpse of a certain woman was seen lying by the roadside at Aro area of the state capital.
He said that upon receiving the information, the DPO of Divisional Headquarters dispatched his men to the scene, where the corpse was recovered and deposited at a mortuary.
He further stated the case was subsequently transferred to State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department on the order of the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, for discreet investigation.

The PPRO said the CSP Femi Olabode-led homicide section embarked on technical and intelligence-based investigation to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of the woman.

“The investigation eventually led the team to the Obada Oko area, where the suspect resides and he was arrested.Upon interrogation, the suspect first denied knowing the deceased. However, when the evidence linking him with the deceased, which had been at the disposal of the Policemen before his arrest, was tabled before him, he was left with no other alternative than to confess.”
“In his confession, he told the investigators that he had been dating the deceased since last year, and that he invited her to his house on 31st October, 2021, to pass the night with him since his wife was not at home.”
“He said it was around 3am that the deceased started showing signs of sickness after they had sex together, and before he could do anything, she had given up the ghost.”
“He stated further that he took the corpse in his car and drove it to Aro area, where he dumped her.

” When asked why he behaved in such an inhuman manner, he said he did so out of fear,” the Police spokesman said.

DSP Oyeyemi added that the Commissioner of Police commended the team for the professional manner in which it carried out the investigation and directed that the suspect be charged to Court as soon as investigation is concluded.
He appealed to members of the public to always make their whereabouts known to, at least, one person whenever they had cause to go out of their houses.
