This was disclosed by the spokesman of the State Police Command:
“The suspect, Khadija Umar, orchestrated criminal activities by scouting targeted areas and monitoring residents.
Once the coast was clear, she allegedly enlisted the help of her two sons and two other suspects, who are currently at large, to carry out the thefts.”
“During the operation, the Police recovered several stolen items from the suspects, including two television sets, two 6×6 mattresses, a gas cooker, a 12kg cylinder, a standing fan, a GoTV decoder, cooking pots, an electric jug, a refrigerator, and solar panels. The items are believed to have been stolen from various homes in the area.”
