Police operatives from the Rivers State Command have narrated how two 7-year old children were lured, drugged, murdered and their blood used for money rituals.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the arrested suspects included a 43-year old native doctor, Kingsley Opurum and his client, Aniekan Sunday Uko, 27 and his lover, Luis John Uwelemele, 19 including a landlord, Friday Silas, 47, for allegedly conspiring to commit the dastardly act.

This was disclosed by the Rivers State Police Command, which confirmed their arrest and explained the different roles played by the suspects over the murder of those innocent children.

The State Police Command announced the arrest on its X handle and Facebook wall, saying the native doctor conspired with the three persons to kill the two children.

It stated: “A native doctor as well as a lady and two men have been arrested by men of the Command after killing two children and using their blood for money ritual”.

“Their names were identified as Kingsley Opurum, aged 43 years (the native doctor), Aniekan Sunday Uko, aged 27 years; Luis John Uwelemele, aged 19 (female and Aniekan’s lover); and Friday Silas, aged 47 years.
The Police also recovered some items from the arrested persons as exhibits as posted by the Command. ”

The Command disclosed that Aniekan Sunday Uko lured the children to his location, drugged them by using an energy drink and subsequently slaughtered them, collecting their blood in a bottle.

As for the landlord, Friday Silas, the Police explained that he was arrested because he allowed Aniekan to stay at his uncompleted building where the killings took place.

According to the Command, during their interrogation, Aniekan was said to have confessed that he became involved in the ritual killing after visiting the native doctor and witnessing him perform similar rituals for others in exchange for wealth.

“The native doctor instructed me to provide fresh human remains and blood for the purpose” the suspect said.

According to the Command: “Law enforcement officials visited the scene of the crime, documented evidence with photographs and recovered additional exhibits”.

“The following items were retrieved: A kitchen knife identified as the murder weapon, a bottle filled with the victims’ blood, an empty can of the energy drink used to drug the victims before the act and a spoon used to collect the victims’ blood.”

“They were said to have given more useful information to the Police operatives and they are expected to be charged to Court at the conclusion of the investigations.”
