How Police Rescued 3 Kids Kept Inside Rooms For Rituals

Facts have emerged on how Police operatives from the Anambra State Command uncovered a hideout, where three children were said to have been abducted and kept in captivity to be used for ritual purposes.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that two women have been arrested in connection with the assault which included an 80-year old Felicia Nwafor and Rejoice Nwafor, 39, who reside at Akunwata Mbamalu Street, 3-3 area in the outskirts of Onitsha metropolitan city in Anambra State.
This was disclosed by the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Haruna Mohammed, who confirmed that the two suspects were in Police custody undergoing interrogation.
He said that on 19th February, 2021, at about 5:50pm, following intelligence report, Police operatives attached to 3-3 Police Station, Nkwelle Ezunaka, arrested the two suspects of same address.
He explained that the suspects allegedly confined three children (2 boys and a girl) inside different rooms at No.13 Akunwanta Mbamalu Street, Federal Housing Estates 3-3 Nkwelle Ezunaka and subjected them to physical and emotional torture without feeding while inflicting several wounds on their body leaving them unconscious.
“Scene was visited by the DPO 3-3, CSP Abdu Bawa, where gory sights of badly battered victims, one with a broken arm were found in the pool of their blood and whose parents were neither seen nor known. The children were rescued and rushed to the hospital for medical attention.”
CSP Mohammed said that preliminary investigation further revealed some fetish substances, blood stained canes, concoctions and other incriminating items were all recovered inside the rooms and registered as exhibits.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Bala Kuryas, has ordered for a discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the case after which the suspects would be brought to justice.
