How Technician Installed Lagos Street Solar Panels & Went Back To Steal Same Panels At Night

A technician, Emmanuel Achogwu, has been arrested in Lagos State after he was engaged to install streetlight solar panels and he went back at night to steal same panels he had installed but was caught in the act. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer,  SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed that the suspect was in custody undergoing interrogation over his alleged conduct.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin stated: “Recently, the Lagos State Government installed some solar-powered streetlights in some parts of the state.
A few weeks later, the solar panels were  stolen. The Police were informed, they got to work and it eventually paid off through surveillance”.
“A few days back, 30-year old Emmanuel Achogwu was arrested by officers from Alausa Division on Ikosi Road with four solar panels, moments after he removed them.”
“An investigation revealed that the suspect was one of the technicians contracted to install the solar-powered streetlights and he later went back to steal them before he was caught.”
The Lagos State Police spokesman added that the investigation is ongoing while the suspect is still in custody and will be charged before the Court for the alleged offence but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
