Husband & Wife In Police Net Over Rape Of 19-Year Old House Maid

A 36-year old housewife, Omolara Alashe, has landed in trouble for allegedly conspiring and arranging with her husband, Ramoni Lateef, to rape their 19-year old housekeeper in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Omolara and her 40-year old husband, Lateef has been arrested and charged for conspiracy and gang rape of the victim.

According to the Police, while the husband penetrated her with his dick,  the wife used her fingers on house maid’s private part to satisfy her sexual desires before the victim exposed them by reporting to the Police and they were arrested.

The Police charged the duo before the Ogudu Magistrate Court in Lagos for the alleged dastardly act.

The prosecutor, Inspector Perezi, told the Court that the man, Lateef, sometime in March, 2023 in his residence, had sexual intercourse with the house maid.

The prosecutor, Inspector Perezi also told the Court that on several occasions, Lateef’s wife, Omolara, usually woke the housekeeper up at night, strip her naked and instruct her husband to rape her in order to satisfy his sexual desires.

Perezi further stated, “Omolara beat the victim up and penetrated her vagina with her fingers till she started bleeding. She also denied the victim of her salaries, seized her GTB ATM card, as well as her SIM card”.

The offences, Perezi said, contravened Sections 260, 137, 287 and 261 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.

The Magistrate, Mrs. M. O. Tanimola, who did not take the plea of the defendants, ordered their remand at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre pending receipt of advice from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) and adjourned the case to 8th June, 2023.
