I Support The Lawmakers-elect For Choosing Rt. Hon. Obasa For Speakership Position – Comrade Akanbi

Following the endorsement of Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa by 39 Lawmakers-elect as the preferred candidate for the position as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, a grassroots Progressive youth, Comrade Ige Akanbi, has commended them and joined in the endorsement.
Comrade Akanbi, who is also a stakeholder in the entertainment industry, said that Rt. Hon. Dr Obasa has demonstrated capacity to provide the needed leadership during the period he has so far presided over the activities of that arm of Government and there is need for continuity.
He said, “I join my voice to that of the 39 Lawmakers-elect, who are rooting for Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa to become the Speaker of the next Assembly, because he is bringing experience and capacity to the position”.
“Rt. Hon. Obasa, aside being the highest ranking lawmaker in the House, has during the period he led the Assembly made it the envy of all across the country based on the quality of laws and oversight functions performed. It is therefore, proper to elect him again as Speaker for the achievement of the Greater Lagos vision.”
“On behalf of Progressive grassroots youths across the state, I affirm that we are solidly behind the 39 lawmakers-elect in their avowed support for Rt. Hon Mudashiru Obasa.”
