Upcoming Afrobeat sensation act, Ogbeyemi Samuel Oluwaseun, popularly known as Sam Stiz, has said that he is aiming to rule the music world in the future, adding that he will be the greatest singer his generation ever seen.

Oluwaseun, a native of Ondo State, said he started his music carrier since 2020, when he recorded his first his single music titled ‘Plenty Things’.

Speaking, Sam Stiz noted that his passion for music and creative art started at a very young age.

Born on May 22, 2002, Sam Stiz said he experienced several challenges to achieve a breakthrough in the music industry. He said: “since I recorded my first track in January of 2020, i have been facing a lot of challenges, but I just believe that I will make it in the music industry”.

“Tough my parents and my family don’t want me to do this music thing but because am in love with music, I decided to remain focus. To achieve my highest dream, sometimes I trekked from my house to studio just to record and learn more about music.”

On how he ventured into music, he said: “initially I was not into music until one of my friends invited me to the studio. He is also an artist he wanted to record a song.

“When we got to the studio to record, my guy recorded his first verse and the producer noticed me, and wanted to know more about me. My friend told the producer that we were schoolmate. Surprisingly, the producer invited me to sing anything on top the song. It was just like I was dreaming, because it was my first time going to the studio, much less, of recording a song.

“From that day, my love for music began to grow and I start composing lots of songs on my notebook, and many people that listen to my song are telling me that they love my verse on that. So, when I recorded my second track my friends and people comment on the song that they love this more than the first track Omo I just feel like maybe this is my talent I don’t no it’s only god that knows.”

On genre of music he chose, he said; “I can say I do afrobeat because I love Afro beats more than any type of music. I listen to Asake, Fireboy, Omah Lay, and lots more just because of the kind vibes that comes from them and most of the youths in Nigeria and all other countries love Afro beat. Outside Nigeria Afro beat is trending and it’s the best right now because Afro beat inspires.

“So, that’s why I love doing Afro beats because I want my people to understand the kind of music that I do and also prove to the world that Nigeria music is the best.”

Sam Stiz is one of those rare sensational talents that wait for their time to shine like a star and do the real thing in the music industry.
