Igbo Buru Otu Association Embarks On Multi-Million Event Centre In Lagos

A sociocultural organization, known as  Igbo Buru Otu, has embarked on the building of a multi-million Naira event centre on the parcel of land, which the group recently bought for N30m in Lagos State. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the land is located at Ijegun area, where the  organization first started through a vision by the founder and President of the association, Eze Chika Nwokedi.

 

The ground breaking was done by the president of the group and Chairman of Council of Ndieze in Lagos State, Eze Nwokedi, with the other members of land committee led by Chief Emeka Onwukobi a.k.a (Onowu) and other members who went to witnessed the event.

 

Eze Nwokedi, also known as Okpoko, explained that the choice of building an event centre was considered by their members because it fits into the aims and objectives of the association, which is to assist Ndigbo in general by providing a place they will celebrate events at cheaper rate.

 

He explained that that when the project is completed, members will be using it for free while any Igbo person who wants to use the centre, will be given at a reduced cost. And it is a golden investment for members because any money realized from the centre will be shared among members and if the member dies, the next of kin will be getting the share from the centre.

Eze Nwokedi explained that Igbo Buru Otu has been growing rapidly and strongly since it was formed in 2016 after he received a revelations from God that he will lead a group and later he formed the the association and named it Igbo Buru Otu duly registered with CAC.

 

He explained that the association has been assisting members by supporting their businesses, families by providing financial support in the times of need and further supporting the members to acquire properties in Lagos State.

 

He commended the members for their support over the years and was able to provide leadership transparently for them without any selfish interest rather for the benefit of the members.

 

The land committee chairman,  Chief Onwukobi, expressed gratitude to God that he was able to acquire the land and building have commenced to achieve the dream of investment on the event center. He explained that his committee was given the responsibility to get a land for the project which they were able to achieve within a short time.

 

The second Vice Chairman of Igbo Buru Otu, Bishop Moses Okwuosa, expressed grateful to God for the dream of the project coming to fruition. He thanked the members of the land the committee, who made it possible and hopes that within the shortest time the project will be completed.

 

He also commended the president of the association, Eze Chika Nwokedi, for his leadership qualities, which has made it possible for the association to continue to grow stronger.

 

He explained that Eze Nwokedi has done so well and the members have confidence in him and will continue to trust him because of his leadership qualities.
