The Founder of Igbo Ruo Ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union, Venerable Joseph Chinedozi Eze, popularly known as Fr. Joe Vicar, has warned members of the public against one Chief Obioma Peter Nnazor a.k.a Aguejiemba, describing him as an imposter using his vision for land grabbing in Nigeria.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Joe Vicar, who is the Chief Executive of the popular social media house – Joe Vicar TV California USA, stated this through the Secretary General of the union, Sam Eze, Esq. PhD in a statement.
He explained that the union is an NGO and not a commercial venture nor involved in land grabbing under any disguise, noting that the clarification became necessary following inquiries by members of the public over activities of Chief Nnazor with his own version of Igbo Ruo Ulo Development Union.
He stated:
“IGBO RUO ULO UDO N’IHINANYA DEVELOPMENT UNION IS NOT INTO LAND GRABBING OR LAND MERCHANDISING BEWARE!
The leadership of Igbo Ruo ulo Udo N’ihunanya has in recent times been inundated with calls and messages from innocent members of the public, who are likely acquainted with the vision and mission of the body and its founder asking whether we are currently into land allocation.”
“The calls are not unconnected with an ongoing advert on land merchandise by an ‘Igbo Ruo ulo Development Union Ltd’. It therefore, became quite pertinent to place this disclaimer that there is only one original Igbo Ruo ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union – a non-profit oriented organization.”
“Tagging Igbo Ruo ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union as the only original Igbo Ruo ulo body in Nigeria and worldwide in the light of this disclaimer suggests there could either be a fraudulent misrepresentation of this original Igbo Ruo ulo Union or that there is a fake Igbo Ruo ulo Development Union impersonating the original one. The later is likeliest.”
“The one and only Igbo Ruo ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union was founded by  Fr. Joe Vicar in 2023 as a forum to push for the repatriation of Igbo genius to the ancestral land of Igbo ethnicity with the Igbo Ruo ulo concept.
“Igboruoulo points towards the reflection of Igbo wealth in Igbo land, a practice that has really gained ground among Ndigbo. Of course, a tour of Igbo land will show a landscape of beautiful edifices dotting most towns.”
“Some of which are scarcely occupied to required capacity if at all. They are simply symbols of Igbo global success story. Hardly does any Igbo man make wealth without leaving a sign of the wealth on Igbo soil typifying the Igboruoulo mantra. Beside buildings, Igbo success especially when recorded abroad (away from Igbo land) comes home in form of donation and gifting to individuals, groups, organizations, Churches and other institutions located homeward. This is indeed the makeup of ‘Akuruoulo’ among the Igbos.
“Igbo Ruo ulo concept as envisioned by Fr. Joe Vicar points towards the reflection of Igboness, Igbo sense and Igbo essence on home soil. That which makes an Igbo a money-maker should be brought home. Igbo industry taken abroad should be brought home. An Igbo man who has successfully managed a shop, company or factory anywhere away from home should quickly consider locating a branch of the shop, company or factory in Igbo land or the political southeast of Nigeria. By this, Igbo Ruo ulo is not only about bringing money home, but creating vast employment opportunities for home based Igbo youth, men and women.”
“Fr. Joe Vicar gradually sold his vision to a couple of Igbo men and women home and abroad leading to the forming Igbo Ruo ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union.”
“However, one of those employed to lead the formation of Igbo Ruo ulo structure in Lagos State was one Chief Obioma Peter Nnazor a.k.a Aguejiemba, whose self-advertisement and wooing as an astute coordinator led to his being made the coordinator of Lagos branch of Igbo Ruo ulo by Joe Vicar, the founder.”
“Having secured Lagos branch to himself, he became so inquisitive and pushed hard to also become a member of Igbo Ruo ulo Board of Trustees, which was resisted by the Executive.”
“Having failed to make Board of Trustees, Aguejiemba applied for the inauguration of Lagos branch and fronted his account for freewill donations towards the inauguration. Not really suspecting any skeleton in his cupboard, the leadership of Igbo Ruo ulo played along. The moment he amassed a reasonable amount in his account out of the donations made towards the inauguration of Lagos branch, Aguejiemba bolted away and clandestinely approached Corporate Affairs Commission to register another man’s vision “Igbo Ruo ulo Development Union” in his name. Nobody ever suspected this evil genius to be up to this kind of manoeuvering till the legal team of Igbo Ruo ulo got to the Corporate Affairs Commission to finally register the union. Every explanation to CAC ended in adding the tag “Udo N’ihunanya” to the name – “Igbo Ruo Ulo Development Union”.
“The original Igbo Ruo ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union has ever since been tasked with educating and warning unsuspecting members of the public to beware of the ‘fake Igbo Ruo ulo Development Union” said to be a limited liability company going about with different schemes of land merchandising targeted at making unsuspecting persons part with their hard earned money and stylishly impersonating the real Igbo Ruo ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union.”
“Let it be cleared once again that Igbo Ruo ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union is not a limited liability company and not into land agency of any sort.If you find yourself in any WhatsApp group of Igbo Ruo ulo, boldly inquire into the person of the founder; if you note one Nnazor Obioma Peter or Aguejiemba, run for your dear life. Inquire if the group is a non-profit organization or a limited liability company; if the later, run for your dear life. Of course, by their fruits you shall know them.” the statement concluded.

Chief Nnazor could not be reached for response because his phone was switched off.
