Igbo Speaking Community Youth Leader, Chief Okechukwu Uzuegbunam Congratulates New Executives

The newly elected Igbo Speaking Community Youth leader, Hon. Okechukwu Uzuegbunam, has congratulated the newly elected elected Executives of the Communnity led by Chief Sunday Udeh, while emphasizing on integrity, transparency and accountability, as the foundational elements for effective leadership.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Chief Uzuegbunam stated this on the heels of the inauguration of the executives held in Lagos State by the electoral committee with the Board of Trustees led by their chairman, Dr Jonathan Nnaji.
He commended the BOT led by Dr Nnaji, the President – Chief Udeh and Chief Sunday Eze, traditional rulers, critical stakeholders including members of the Igbo Speaking community for their efforts in restoring peace to the Igbo Speaking community in the State.
He also highlighted that leadership among Ndigbo should be about leading rather than ruling, which underscores the importance of collaborative and inclusive governance.
Chief Uzuegbunam noted the importance of peace among Ndigbo in Lagos State and emphasised the importance of peace, which he described as a pivotal approach in fostering trust and driving collective progress.
Uzuegbunam called on the members of Igbo Speaking community and indeed Ndigbo to support Chief Sunday Udeh led leadership so that Ndigbo will be united to pursue common goals for progress and prosperity of Ndigbo.
He expressed his commitment to support the leadership to achieve great feats through his position as the youth leader and enjoined all the youths to give every support to Chief Sunday Udeh’s administration for the overall good of Ndigbo.
He also urged the new administration to do things right, abandon old leadership methods, maintain integrity and accountability, and lead the Igbos, not rule them so that the administration will get the needed support to move the community to the next level.
