Igwe Sylvester Udalor Nnose’s Final Ofala Set For 22nd April

Preparations are in top gear for the final Ofala ceremony of the Traditional Ruler, His Royal Majesty, (HRM) Igwe Sylvester Udalor Nnose, (Ezediebube, Ezeanasoluanya, Igwe Odogwu of Ifite Anam), in Anambra West Local Government Area, Anambra State.
According to a statement signed by the PG, Ifite-Anam, Ofodile Cyprian Chukwujekwu, Prince Dr Egbunike Sylvester Nnose (Akuenwebe) and Prince Ndidi Nnose (Afunwa), the grand event is slated to take place on 22nd April, 2025, at Mmiata Anam Primary School Field.
The Elders In Council, Igwe’s Cabinet and Ifite-Anam Town Union hereby invite the sons and daughters of Ifite-Anam, their neighbours in Anambra West Local Government Area, Anambra State, friends, associates, well-wishers and the general public to join them in the Last Ofala Festival of a well respected, amiable and peace loving Traditional Ruler.
It will be recalled that before he joined his ancestors at 83 years, Igwe Sylvester Udalor Nnose has rendered quality service at different levels and held various positions in Anambra State and beyond. He was a member of Anambra West council of Traditional Rulers, the Secretary of Anambra North Council of Traditional Rulers, Member, South East Council of Traditional Rulers, Former Chairman, Anambra North Council of Traditional Rulers, Member, Anambra State Cattle Menace Committee, Secretary, Anambra East and West conflict Resolution Committee, among other positions.
