Igweship Candidate and respected Leader of Team Make Ogbunike Great (TMOG), Dr Harris Chuma-Odili Udokamma, was on air and used the opportunity to x-ray the 3 years of the administration of Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR.

The veteran media personality and culture advocate, popularly known as Ogene Igbo, featured on the weekly programme “N’Ime Ogbe” on 88.5 FM, Awka

Speaking on Gov Soludo’s three years in office, Dr Harris Chuma-Odili Udokamma said, “First and foremost, I must state that Prof Soludo came prepared. While many were expecting the usual funfair and fanfare after inauguration, Soludo was off to Okpoko, an urban slum, which he assured to turn around in no time”.

“Since Government is continuum, Soludo improved on what was on ground before unleashing his solutions, which were completely different. We all saw Soludo on marking his 3rd Anniversary go back to a different Okpoko, where even the blind can see total transformation.
As the Publisher of Hardcore News, we have pictures of Okpoko, which Soludo met and pictures of the total transformation.”

“Massive road projects have been completed across the length and breadth of Anambra. Even though inside Ogbunike, where I hail from has not witnessed one yet, but all access routes to Ogbunike have been constructed and in great shape.”

“I’ll strongly support Gov Soludo for 2nd term. Anyone who has seen the new Government House and Governor’s Lodge under construction will want Soludo to return and at least enjoy the beautiful city he is building for Ndi Anambra after about 34 years without a befitting Government House. Former Governor, Willie Obiano built the airport and enjoyed it before leaving office. Soludo should return having done marvelously well and enjoy some of the legacy projects he is putting in place for Ndi Anambra.”

“Within the space of 3 years, Soludo has employed thousands of qualified and quality teachers. He has built smart schools; Cave City Secondary School Ogbunike is one of them. He has also created jobs through infrastructural projects and ICT empowerment initiatives.”

“Many are wondering how Nwa Mgbafor has achieved so much without borrowing. It must be noted that Soludo has special training on management of funds and he’s maximizing it for the benefit of Ndi Anambra. I equally tell people that Soludo dealt heavy blow to political jobbers who hitherto flood Awka without contributing anything meaningful to governance and he has not been reckless with the resources of the State. Many who don’t like him is simply because he doesn’t share money. The usual ‘thank you for coming’ witnessed after events at the state capital was trashed by Gov Soludo.”

“I can boldly state that there is no opposition in Anambra State. In the previous administrations, activists and spokespersons for opposition parties kept the government in power on its toes. The APC, PDP, Labour Party and others have no face at the moment. A few are just churning out propaganda, but Ndi Anambra can’t be easily deceived. Soludo has used his achievements to close their mouths.”

“Insecurity is seen across the country but the opposition forces were hoping to use it for campaign in Anambra. But they forgot that by the time Soludo assumed office, more than 11 communities were under the control of non-state actors. With the launch of Udo Ga-Achi, the opposition is in disarray as there is nothing to tell Ndi Anambra again. I used to move with a convoy of vehicles before now but can conveniently enter tricycle or cab now and move following the effectiveness of the security Soludo put in place.”

“On Ogbunike Cave. I have tried to draw attention to its potentials for many years now. The administration of Peter Obi and Willie Obiano didn’t do anything about it. But Gov Soludo, during the last New Yam Festival, assured me that he is coming to Ogbunike Cave. I’ve also taken Ndichie Ogbunike with me to meet with the Secretary to the State Government. He assured us that it is part of Soludo’s plan and even called the Honourable Commissioner in our presence to confirm it. So, we’re optimistic that Soludo will give the neglected UNESCO site a torch of class. Soludo promised to turn Okpoko around, he did it to the chagrin of naysayers. He promised Ekwulobia flyover, Solution FunCity, new Government House, Governor’s Lodge and many other projects and he fulfilled all. He promised me Ogbunike Cave and as a man of his words he will fulfill it. I’m very optimistic about that.”

“There are opponents warming up for the Anambra Governorship Election in November. They have rights to contest no doubt. But the election will be a walkover because I wouldn’t know what they will tell Ndi Anambra that Soludo hasn’t done right, which they want to do.”
