Ikeja Council Boss, Comrade Dauda Holds Monthly Prayer Session

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), today hosted the monthly prayer session with the Ikeja League of Imams at his Ikeja House office.

The session, introduced at the inception of his administration, is dedicated to seeking God’s guidance and intervention for Nigeria, Lagos State, and the entire Ikeja community.

The prayers focused on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule, Hon. Dr James Abiodun Faleke, Hon. Seyi Lawal, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, the Executive Chairman, the Vice Chairman, councillors, management, staff, and all residents of Ikeja. Emphasis was placed on divine protection, wisdom to lead, prosperity for the people, and continuous progress for the nation.

The Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda, expressed gratitude to the Imams for their steadfast support, acknowledging their spiritual collaboration as an essential pillar in achieving effective and impactful governance. He reiterated that their consistent presence strengthens the administration’s resolve to deliver quality service to the people.
The Ikeja League of Imams, in their remarks, commended the Chairman’s visionary and inclusive leadership. They applauded his commitment to community engagement and offered further prayers for the success of the administration and the wellbeing of Ikeja residents.

The session concluded with renewed optimism as the Chairman, Comrade Dauda reaffirmed his dedication to building a peaceful, united, and prosperous Ikeja through continuous partnership with faith leaders and the community.
