Ikeja Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda Honours Deaconess Monisola M. A. Ipinlaiye At 80

In his characteristic display of respect for elders and appreciation for noble service to humanity, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), on Saturday, 4th October, 2025, graced the 80th birthday celebration of Deaconess Monisola M. A. Ipinlaiye, held at Chemline House Event Centre, Obasa Road, Ikeja.

The well-attended event, themed “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” was a colourful gathering of family members, friends, and dignitaries who came together to celebrate the grace, strength, and impactful life of Deaconess Ipinlaiye; an exemplary matriarch known for her unwavering faith, humility, and dedication to community service.

Comrade Dauda, in his remarks, congratulated the celebrant for attaining the milestone age of 80, describing her as “a shining example of resilience, godliness, and selfless contribution to humanity.” He prayed for her continued good health and God’s abundant blessings in her golden years.

He further noted that celebrating elders who have lived purposefully serves as a moral compass for the younger generation, encouraging a culture of gratitude, service, and legacy building in society.

The event was filled with moments of joy, music, prayers, and heartfelt tributes to the celebrant for her decades of positive impact within Ikeja and beyond.

Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD) once again demonstrated his leadership ethos of compassion, community engagement, and recognition of noble citizens whose lives inspire others.
