The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), joined other prominent leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State at the official inauguration of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

The epoch-making event brought together the who-is-who within the Lagos APC family, underscoring the unity, strength, and shared commitment of the party to deepening grassroots engagement across the state.

The ceremony was graced by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and his deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, alongside top party stalwarts, government functionaries, and key stakeholders.

The gathering reflected the collective resolve of the Lagos APC to consolidate on the achievements of the Renewed Hope administration under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

In his remarks, Comrade Dauda congratulated the Lagos State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, the esteemed Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, on his well-deserved appointment.

He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the 20 Local Government Coordinators across the state, with special commendation to the Ikeja Local Government Coordinator, Hon. Basheer Nurudeen, for the confidence reposed in him to lead the charge at the grassroots level.

Comrade Dauda described the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative as a strategic and timely platform to take the message of the Tinubu administration to the nooks and crannies of Lagos State.

He emphasized that the ambassadors bear the important responsibility of enlightening citizens on the transformative policies, bold reforms, and people-centered programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and articulating why the administration deserves sustained support to deliver even greater dividends of democracy.

Charging the ambassadors to live up to the high expectations of their office, the Ikeja Council Boss, Comrade Dauda, noted that the party is counting on their dedication, integrity, and grassroots connection to strengthen public trust and mobilize wider support. He urged them to serve as true representatives of the Renewed Hope vision—committed, disciplined, and passionate about progress.

The inauguration marks another significant step in reinforcing party cohesion and expanding civic engagement as Lagos APC continues to align with and promote the developmental strides of the Renewed Hope Agenda for the benefit of all Lagosians.
