I’m Solidly Standing For The Fubara/Odu Mandate – Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe Clears

Posted on January 4, 2026
The State Coordinator of Civil Society Campaign Council for Tinubu 2027 and the National President Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, has cleared the air and restated his solid support for the Fubara/Odu mandate.
Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, who has been strongly canvassing and mobilizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election, cleared the air following false online publication by a blogger that he has withdrawn support for Gov Fubara and Deputy, Prof Ngozi Odu.
While debunking the false report, Amb Ibe stated, “I have been made aware of a misleading report circulating online, credited to a blogger, which falsely claimed that I intend to withdraw support for the Fubara/Odu mandate and align with Nyesom Wike because of my resolve to mobilize support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 as the State Coordinator Civil Society Campaign Council for Tinubu 2027 and the National President of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, which are committed for the same purpose”.
“I hereby state that the publication is completely untrue, unfounded and malicious. I wish to state categorically that I have neither thought of it nor do I have any intention of working against the re-election of Governor Fubara/Odu, and I have no discussions, plans, or arrangements whatsoever to collaborate with the individuals referenced in the report.”
“I remain firm, resolute, and unwavering in my political stance, reaffirming my full support and allegiance to His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the Executive Governor of Rivers State and Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Prof Ngozi Odu, and to the ideals of good governance, unity, and development that his administration represents. I am using my position as the State Coordinator Civil Society Campaign Council for Tinubu 2027 and the National President of Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria to work for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 election.”
“This kind of irresponsible journalism is aimed solely at misleading the public and creating unnecessary political distractions. I urge members of the public to ignore the report entirely and rely only on information released through my official and verified channels.”
“While not denying the fact that there may be political factions in the state, my stance is known. Except Gov Fubara declares that he will not seek re-election, that’s when I can back down on my support for him and his Deputy.”
