Imo State Is Poised For Action And Prosperity In 2024 – Gov. Uzodimma

The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, in his new year message to ndi Imo, reiterated the commitment of his second administration to bring more Prosperity to the State.
The Governor, speaking after the Holy Eucharistic celebration at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in his hometown, Ozuh Omuma, emphasized his commitment to enhance the state’s prosperity, highlighting the transformative potential of the 2024 Appropriation Bill’s capital expenditure focus, anticipating greater achievements than the past four years of his first tenure.
In his words, “What was achieved in the last 4 years will be nothing compared with what we will achieve in this second tenure”.
The Governor urged citizens to endure momentary inconveniences, promising long-term benefits and assuring ongoing support through resource provision and palliatives.
Embracing a zero-tolerance stance on corruption, he calls for genuine public service, fostering a collective commitment to shared prosperity, in alignment with the Bishop’s anti-corruption sermon.
