Posted on May 24, 2023

Ipetumodu in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State, the good old town and native land to Mr. Femi Adesina, was in a festive mood on Tuesday, 23rd May,2023.

What happened? It was day to commission the 80-bed hospital built by the Muhammadu Buhari administration, under the auspices of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Osun State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, was on hand to represent Gov Ademola Adeleke in flagging off the fully equipped hospital, while the Apetu of Ipetumodu, Oba Prof Joseph Olugbenga Oloyede led the retinue of Obas from neighboring Asipa, Yakoyo, and other towns. Edunabon was represented by the Asalu of the town.

The elated people turned out in droves, drumming and dancing. It was truly a red letter day.

As a ‘Shon of the Shoil.’ Femi Adesina was equally there.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Princess (Dr) Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, was represented by a powerful delegation.

Ipetumodu will surely remember President Buhari for good. And it is just the beginning of good things to happen.
