Yesterday marked a sober yet poigant day as the prominent Eze – Amadi family in Adanta village — Isiokpo ancient kingdom — Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State, laid their matrriach, late Mrs. Hope Nwaku Eze – Amadi (néé Offor), to rest in a blaze of glory.

While she lived a fulfilled life; her departure, no doubt, leaves behind a void that echoes with memories of love, laughter, and cherished moments with her children rolling the drums to celebrate her life and times.

The air hung heavy with grief as family, friends, loved ones, captains of industry, the high and mighty in the Nigerian political circle, oil magnets and Port-Harcourt finest were in attendance.

Among the A-list dignatries spotted at the funeral ceremony were; Imo born doyen of oil business, philanthropist and road construction giant—High Chief Johnbosco Chukwuma Ozigbu, Ph.D (Ogwuaga of Ogwuaga)— Chief Obinna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana)— Chairman of Cubana Group, a former Local Government Chairman of Ikwerre LGA— Dr. Samuel Nwanosike—Dr. Chimezie Nwankwo (Biggy)- who  was recently honoured as The Sun Entrepreneur of the Year by Daily Sun Newspapers, Chief Lucky Uchechukwu Ndukwe (Cubana Prime Minister), among other Nigerian top socialites and showbiz promoters.
