January 8th Birthday: Siju Iluyomade, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Pauline Tallen Celebrate
Every 8th of January is always a memorable one for the trio of Convener of Arise Women, Dr Siju Iluyomade, Lagos First Lady, Dr (Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and former Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, as it marks a special day that binds them together as birthday mate.
Fortunately the three prominent celebrities who are close friends often use the day not to just socialize, throw parties but give back to the society in form of empowering the less privileged.
They have shown over the years that they are humble but yet fascinating with their demeanor, little wonder they have been endeared to many having pet project that caters for the vulnerable.
For Dr Siju Iluyomade who has through her NGO, Arise Women, empower thousands of less privileged in almost two decades of establishing the humanitarian organization, she has laid down a concrete structure for her passion to always help the underprivileged and her footnotes can be seen in different areas across the Country.
She has through Arise Women built Hospitals, Schools, Boreholes. free food packs, Distribution of free fertilizers to assist and encourage Women in farming.
Not only that, her skills acquisition programme has empowered over 10,000 people over the years.
Dr. Iluyomade is married to Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, she will turning 61, Dr. Sanwo-Olu will age gracefully into 58 while Dame Tallen clocks 66 years.
Despite the age difference between them coupled with their status in the society, they never see themselves as rivals, but associate together with shared love.
Dr. Iluyomade, who is also the founder of The Handmaidens Women in leadership series, apart from Arise Women, building women is one of her major strength.
She is unapologetically driven to see that women are economically empowered.
This is why she has been running a platform for many years where women can have a voice and build lasting legacies for themselves in their lifetime.
Dr Iluyomade’s love for women did not start few years ago, it all evolved as a result of her teenage years at Queens College.
Her love to help and empower her fellow women charted a great course for her as she also uses this medium to win souls for Christ.
Dr. Iluyomade is a woman whom many love to be with, she always wants her private life to be kept within herself but her position, class and lifestyle are what bring her to the limelight.
She travels all around the world and has become a regular stocker of designers range which are limited editions from highbrow stores abroad.
Blessed with a lovely figure, the tall, robust, ebony-skinned woman has a lovely skin to go with it.
She is always a head stunner at event, simple but elegantly dressed. A lawyer by profession with over 35 years post-call experience, she has been in legal practice with her husband since 1987 and she is a founding partner in the law firm Iluyomade and Iluyomade and co.
She is a member of International Bar Association, her formative years were spent at Queens College.
She plays host to Tens of thousands of participants at the ARISE WALK FOR LIFE that is held annually and Arise Women Conference.
She is also an incurable romantic and accomplished author with a collection of poems and published works.
She is on the board of various organizations such as visible assets limited, Gods Children Great talent, Healing Stripes Hospital, River Bank School to mention a few.
