Jide Kosoko Makes Case For Faleke As Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, SGF

Frontline Nigerian actor, Prince Jide Kosoko has advanced reasons for the Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Lagos, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke to emerge as the Chief of Staff or Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) in the incoming administration of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Prince Kosoko, who gave the reasons while fielding questions from journalists in his Ikorodu, Lagos home on Friday, hinged his call on what he called the track record of Faleke, who is the Secretary of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council and his personal knowledge and experience with the lawmaker.

Kosoko, who also called on the President-elect, Tinubu to look the way of Faleke as his Chief of Staff or SGF, said Faleke’s experience in public service, professionalism and commitment, will be of great service to the incoming President, the Presidency and the nation at large.

“Honourable James Abiodun Faleke will no doubt be an asset to the President-elect, the Presidency under his watch and the nation at large.

“As Secretary of the Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign, Faleke was the soul of the organisation, directly overseeing the campaign council in its day to day activities, coordinating thousands of eminent personalities that made up the PCC and managing the many programmes of the campaign all over the country and beyond.

“As the engine room of the Tinubu-Shettima campaign, Honourable Faleke unique talents and abilities came to the fore, as his unusual down to earth nature, open door policy, accessibility and destabilised disposition ensured that the campaign ran seamlessly, ranking the Tinubu-Shettima PCC as the most organised and most effective throughout the campaign season.”

Speaking on why Honourable Faleke is perhaps the most qualified among the array of eminent options President-elect Tinubu may have as Chief of Staff or SGF, Prince Kosoko said the lawmaker’s culture of working silently without attracting attention to himself stands him out.
