The popular saying that hard work pays was what happened recently as the Jigsimur brand Ambassador, Dame Faith Chukwuma, was conferred with an International doctorate award in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Dr Mrs. Faith Chukwuma, who is an astute and passionate entrepreneur, was bestowed with the prestigious honorary doctorate award by the International Entrepreneurship University (IEU) USA during the convocation for the conferment of doctorate awards to notable Nigerians at the NECA House, Lagos.
Dr Faith Chukwuma was recognized and recommended for the nomination due to her contributions in the world of business in Nigeria and indeed across the globe.
During the citation at the event, Dame Chukwuma was described as one of the inspiring female ambassadors of Jigsimur in Nigeria, who has transformed the Jigsimur ZDEX company, a multi level marketing, for the  past five years she joined the company.
She was equally described as a cheerful giver and a philantropist, who has impacted many lives positively in the business community and the less privileged in the society. No wonder she is called ‘Mother Eagle’ because she flies higher than her counterparts in the business and has touched many lives positively.
According to Prof. Aro Olugbemiga, a consultant to the IEU African operations, the excerpt read, “As part of its programmes to encourage excellence and acknowledge the contribution of respected and distinguished men and women worldwide, IEU through its African operations office, confers Honorary Doctorate award to those who have made outstanding contributions in academics, politics, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship development and Humanitarian services in the advancement of humanity in general”.
In his opening address, Dr. Michael Godwin, the keynote speaker at the convocation, enumarated on “The contribution of Entrepreneurship development to Economic growth”.
He stated that entrepreneurship is a panacea to economic development and it should not be left in the hands of the public sector alone as a private sector driven economy is also important for economic development.
Personalities present at the epoch making event included Alhaji Prof Aliyu Mohammed, a supply chain management professional and procurement management consultant, Prof. Julius Oyedemi, Group ED, PWAN GROUP/MD/ CEO PWAN Plus, Dr. Agatha Boliwo, CEO Agathas Interior Design Ltd., Dr. Salvation Onomroba, MD.Bliss Legacy Ltd., Dr. Kingsley Ehikioya, CEO of Ehi-king Real Estate and Construction Company and many more.
