Jilted Man Drinks Sniper Insecticide In Hotel After Being Dumped By Lover

A jilted man, identified as Adedoye Emmanuel, is lying critically ill at the intensive care unit of the Igando General Hospital in Lagos State after drinking Sniper Insecticide in order to kill himself after his lover dumped him. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Governor’s Road, Ikotun area of Lagos, where Emmanuel lodged in a hotel room.
Emmanuel, who is still unconscious at the hospital, is resident in the Agbado area of Lagos and attempted suicide due to heartbreak from an undisclosed lady and other life issues.
When he could not bear it any longer, he left his house and went to lodge in the popular hotel armed with the Sniper insecticide and Coca cola, which he mixed with Action Bitters he had with him and drank it.
Few minutes later, when the substance started reacting in his body, he raised alarm and ran out from his room before the owner of the hotel quickly intervened.
He was rushed to a private hospital, where he revealed why he had wanted to take his life before he became unconscious and was transferred to the intensive care unit of the General Hospital, Igando, Alimosho LGA.
When our correspondent visited the hospital, Doctors were battling to save his life.
Emmanuel’s full identity is not yet known because his phone was not with him and the two numbers he gave before he became unconscious were not going through and were switched off.
The matter was reported to the Police at Ikotu Division. The Police went to the hotel room, where he lodged and recovered the can of the Sniper insecticide which he drank to take his life.
A Good Samaritan, who did not want his name to be mentioned, has been footing the bills both in the private and General hospitals and every efforts to contact his family members have proved abortive.
