John Ezeobi: Meet Anambra Youngest Most Successful Industrialist

John Ezeobi is a self-made Industrialist and the Chief Executive officer of John Zobis Group of Companies.

 

He is the proud owner of one of the largest manufacturing companies in Anambra. His factory is a bustling hub of activities, where skilled artisans and technicians work together to produce high-quality electrical wires and cables that meet international standards.

His parent company, John Zobis Group, comprises Zobis Electrical Nigeria Ltd, John Zobis Oil and Gas Nigeria Ltd, JZ Bulbs Company Nigeria Ltd, Zobis Cable Nigeria Ltd and John Zobis Company Nigeria Ltd.

These companies are big players in manufacturing, Oil and gas, supplies of genuine electrical products and construction.

John Zobis Electrical Wires and Cable Ltd alone sits on over 400 plots at Okoti-Odekpe in Anambra State. It is one of the largest companies owned by a single individual in the State.

 

Some of the facilities inside the company include a corporate office, warehouses, factories, staff apartments and the ongoing infirmary.

 

Zobis Electrical Wires and Cable Ltd is among the 20 most successful and visible companies in Anambra today in size, staff strength, capitalization, output and CSR.

 

At 40, Ezeobi is arguably the youngest most successful Industrialist in Anambra State now and among the top three youngest Industrialists of igbo extraction.

This is amazing considering the fact that he is self-made. His wealth and success as an industrialist did not in any way stem from his background.

 

By its performance and expansion drive, the company is expected to to be rated among the largest in the country in couple of years at its pace now.

Apart from its base in Onitsha, the company has offices in Abuja, Aba, Rivers State and a semi-corporate office in Lagos.

 

It is also investing in malls that will serve as one stop shops for all its products and other products. These projects, twelve floors each, are estimated to gulp several hundreds of millions of Naira.

Today, John Zobis has become synonymous with the production of high quality cable for residential and industrial uses.

Apart from servicing the open market, the company equally maintain a powerful clientele that cut across the military, oil companies, real estate firms, higher institutions etc.

Zobis products are well sought after in the country and in far away Ghana, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Liberia and other West African countries.

Ezeobi has carved a niche for himself as a force to be reckoned with in manufacturing. His journey from a humble trader to a manufacturing mogul is most inspiring.

His success in the manufacturing sector has not only elevated his status as an industrialist but has also inspired a new generation of entrepreneurs in Anambra.

 

At the core of his company’s objectives is CSR. Through various initiatives, he gives supports to aspiring entrepreneurs, build houses for the indigents, and even goes as far as constructing roads to his host environment. He is equally giving a facelift to one of the schools in his host community.
