Nigerian journalists have been encouraged to contribute their quota to national development in alignment with the current government’s drive toward achieving a 1-trillion-dollar economy.

Sports analyst and newscaster at Inspiration FM, Nicholas Anyameme, urged journalists across the country to scale up, think outside the box, and acquire additional skills beyond the core profession of journalism.

According to Anyameme, who is also Assistant Secretary, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos chapter, personal development and diversification remain essential for media practitioners who wish to stay relevant and impactful.

Anyameme, who is the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of CEM 63 at EDC made these remarks at the Graduation Ceremony of CEM 63, where members successfully completed the Enterprise Development Course at the Lagos Business School (LBS).

The high point of the ceremony was the presentation of scrolls and certificates, as well as the induction of over 94 Life Members of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) drawn from various CEM cohorts.
