A High Court in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has slammed Bash Ali, a former world cruiserweight boxing champion, for wasting its time as it struck out the case he filed against Sunday Dare, a former Sports Minister, with the presiding judge, Justice U.P. Kekemeke, declaring the life of the case terminated.

Ali had sued Dare, in the case numbered FCT/HC/CV/6411/2023, and also joined the Federal Government, and D.A. Muhammad, who was the Director Legal of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.

Justice U.P. Kekemeke, Court 4, High Court of the FCT, Maitama, delivered the judgement to the objection to the suit. Lead Counsel for Dare, Bode Olanipekun and Festus Keyamo (chambers) were in court to argue the matter.

The court found Bash Ali’s case frivolous and a waste of the time of the court. The issue was status barred and the justice tendered that the Ministry or Sunday Dare did not sign any contract to execute any Guinness book fight.

Bash Ali for 5 years has leveled unproven allegations against former Minister, Sunday Dare and the Federal Government. For Five years, he was unrelenting in defaming and attacking Sunday Dare. Five former Ministers of Sports suffered the same fate in the hands of Bash Ali.
