Jumia Nigeria has unveiled “14 Years with You” as its official theme for its 14th anniversary celebration, with the tagline “Jolly after Jolly,” marking a significant milestone in the company’s mission to make e-commerce more inclusive, accessible, and impactful for everyday Nigerians.

Speaking during a media briefing in Lagos ahead of the June 1 start date, Chief Executive Officer Temidayo Ojo said the campaign captures the company’s commitment to delivering continuous value, excitement, affordability, and opportunities to customers across the country.

According to Ojo, Jumia’s next phase of growth will focus strongly on inclusion by ensuring digital commerce serves not only affluent consumers, but also middle-income earners, small business owners, and ambitious low-income Nigerians seeking convenience, economic mobility, and access to quality products.

“14 Years with You’ reflects our belief that every Nigerian deserves access to the benefits of e-commerce, regardless of income level or location. The idea behind ‘Jolly after Jolly’ is that customers should continue to experience value, convenience, and excitement every time they engage with Jumia,” Ojo said.

He added, “Fourteen years ago, e-commerce in Nigeria was still a bold experiment. Today, it has become part of everyday life for millions of people. But the future of commerce must be more inclusive. We are building a platform that works not only for the wealthy but also for the middle class and the ambitious everyday Nigerian. At the same time, we are excited about the opportunities around intra-African trade and how technology can help connect businesses and consumers across the continent.”

A major highlight is a lineup of customer-focused initiatives designed to deliver value, excitement, and deeper engagement across the platform. Shoppers can expect Explosion Days deals, Flash Sales, Brand Days, and Hourly Voucher Drops, offering significant discounts across categories including electronics, fashion, home essentials, and everyday goods.

The campaign also features interactive and reward-driven experiences such as the Treasure Hunt, Memory Match games, and live giveaway videos, giving customers multiple opportunities to unlock surprise discounts, vouchers, and exclusive rewards throughout the celebration period.

Together, these initiatives are designed to make shopping more rewarding, increase access to discounted products across multiple categories, and create a more engaging and dynamic shopping experience for both new and returning customers during the anniversary period.

This year’s edition is proudly powered by Nivea, alongside leading partner brands such as Ecoflow, Skyrun, Aeon, Silver Crest, Oraimo, Infinix, Xiaomi, and many more.

Over the past 14 years, Jumia has played a pioneering role in shaping Nigeria’s e-commerce ecosystem by connecting millions of consumers to thousands of local and international sellers, while strengthening logistics, payment systems, and digital retail infrastructure nationwide.

The company also reaffirmed its commitment to empowering merchants and small businesses through wider market access, technology-driven solutions, and improved visibility within the digital economy.

Beyond Nigeria, Jumia is increasingly positioning itself as a key player in facilitating intra-African commerce, leveraging its technology and logistics capabilities to support the smoother movement of goods across African markets in alignment with the aspirations of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Ojo noted that Africa’s youthful population, expanding internet penetration, and growing entrepreneurial ecosystem present enormous opportunities for digital marketplaces capable of enabling seamless regional trade.

“As African economies become more interconnected, platforms like Jumia have a responsibility to help local businesses scale beyond borders. The future of commerce in Africa will depend heavily on digital infrastructure, accessibility, trust, and seamless trade,” he said.

To commemorate the milestone, Jumia will roll out a series of anniversary campaigns throughout June, including special promotions, customer rewards, merchant empowerment initiatives, and strategic brand collaborations.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, affordability, customer satisfaction, and long-term investments to strengthen Nigeria’s digital economy and drive broader prosperity across Africa.
