Junior Olaitan Joins Besiktas On 3-Year Deal

Another 36 Lion FC product, Junior Olaitan Ishola has joined Turkish giants Besiktas after signing a contract with the Turkish Süper Lig, running until summer 2029, with an option for an additional year.

The contract is valued at €8.5 million represents a big career and financial move for the highly-rated Benin Republic international star.

Speaking on the move, renowned football expert Hajji Gafar Liameed noted that the agelong

dedication, persistence, discipline and self-belief by the player have truly paid off.

Hajji Gafar, who holds the singular and enviable feat of contributing five players to the Nigeria U23 team to the 2016 Rio Olympics Games,  through 36 Lion FC, described the 36 Lion foundation as solid with the invaluable contributions from Coach Afis Ajibade, Baba Arigo, and the contribution of FC Ayema’s Coach Emile Enassouan and Coach Urbain Honfo, adding that have all played significant roles in shaping the journey of the player.

He went ahead to praise the player’s agent Tobi Alabi, for his professionalism, effective management, and successful negotiations. He also appreciated Cem Sagar, for his consistent presence at all times .
