Kidnapping Operation On A Land Site In Lagos

A group of people on a land site were kidnapped at the Alatise village in Ibeju-Lekki on Lekki-Epe expressway, Lagos State.

P.M. EXPRESS reports that the incident which occurred at the Alatise Village, Ibeju Lekki saw no fewer than six people being whisked away in a Sienna car by some gunmen who disguised themselves as policemen in the early hours of 24th of October, 2025.

An eye witness accounts revealed that passersby and occupants in the area ran for their lives to avoid being kidnapped as well.

The residents, who had thought the car belonged to the policemen, who were just on their usual patrol, saw that the driver of the car with four others were dressed in police uniforms and fully armed.

As the driver slowed down, the gunmen opened fire to scare the residents for them to have free access on the road as they whisked the people away.

The eye witness, who said he was watching the operation far off at the other side of the road, said the whole operation did not last up to five minutes, adding that he felt as if he was watching a movie.

According to the eye witness, after the passengers have been led into the bush by the kidnappers, he had to wait for like 30 minutes before moving out of his hideout only to discover that some of the victims were on a site.

Effort to get the police reaction about the kidnap operation proved abortive as telephone calls to the Divisional Police Station were not picked as at the time of filling this report.
