Kogi Agricultural Development Projects To Support Sesame Seeds Production

The Managing Director, Kogi State Agricultural Development Projects is set to encourage the production of Sesame seeds in the state because of its enormous value chain and the economic value to agricultural development.


The M.D. Prince Salim Bello stated this in his office when the State Chairman of the Sesame Farmers Association, Alhaji Damisa Suleiman paid him a visit to seek for greater inputs to the production of the seeds that are now in high demands towards the coming planting session.

Some samples of the seed varieties were shown to the M.D for them to be improved for planting.


The Chairman said that plans are on the way to set up Sesame Seeds Pyramid in Osara with the state government support.
