Kogi Group, Fairwinners Celebrates Gov Bello’s One Year In Office

A socio-political group in Kogi State, Fairwinners, has celebrated Governor Yahaya Bello as he marked one year in office on Friday. 

The group comprises men and women of impeccable characters in and outside the state at their stakeholders meeting on Saturday in Lokoja said they were proud of the style of governance of Governor Bello and what he achieved in just one year as the Governor of Kogi State.

The group led by Hon. Abubakar Ohere, Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Local Government and Chieftancy Matters, facilitated with the Governor, his family and the good people of Kogi State as the Governor clocked a year in office.

A member of the Fairwinners, Prince Abdulkareem Onyekehi Suleiman, Special Advisor to the Governor of Kogi State on Job Creation, SMEs Development said that the group was grateful to many people who came to witness the ceremony to commission some projects to mark the one anniversary in office of Governor Bello on Saturday.

Prince Onyekehi said: “The presence of highly respected great northern leaders, elders and Emirs, the likes of Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Sa’ad III, Emir of Zazzau HRM Alhaji Shehu Idris, Emir of Katsina HRM Alhaji Abdulmumin Kabir Usman, Sheikh Dahiru Tahir Usman Bauchi, Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Ibrahim, Attah of Igala, HRM Dr. Idakwo Michael Ameh Oboni II, the representative of Obaro of Kabba, the Olubunnu of Bunu, the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Sen. Ahmed Ogembe, members of House of Representatives in Kogi State, Hon. Ahmed Tijani Yusuf Damisa, Hon. Kabiru Ajanah and all top government and stakeholders in Kogi State who honoured the occasion of commissioning of uncommon projects in Kogi State as one year anniversary gifts to the good people of Kogi State was a sign of good development and the beginning of progress in building a new Kogi of our dream under Governor Yahaya Bello APC-led government.
