Kotech In Trouble As Alimosho League Enters Week 19

Kotech Football Club would be in trouble this weekend as they travel to be a guest to Iyaloja General United IGU in week 19 of Alimosho Football Coaches Council League.

The much anticipated encounter would hold on Saturday evening at Igando Community Secondary School, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.

Kotech who are among the clubs contesting for the title defeated IGU 3-2 in the first leg and the reverse fixture would be keenly contested as IGU players are in best form of their lives.

Although Kotech won their last home match against ECAS and they are heading to IGU home to get a good result in their reverse fixture. IGU walkovered Newtown G in their last match and their match against Kotech this weekend has been described as the match of the week.

Both teams are fighting for a title but a win for either side would move them up on the log.IGU  would also go on revenge mission as they lost to their opponent in the first leg and they would give everything this time around to take the three points at stake on Saturday.

Speaking ahead of encounter, IGU Head coach, Jamiu Aberejo said he is confident that his team would come out victorious but admitted that the game would be tough.

“We are preparing hard for next game against Kotech. It is going to be tough because both teams are playing well in the league. They have defeated us before and we cannot afford to lose to them again,” he said.

In other fixtures, Kedge Sports would host Newtown G on Tuesday. Three matches would hold on Friday as Samjason welcome NISSI, H2U would be at home against Bucknor, while Flying Wings host Layenda.
