Labour Party Should Not Be Lawless!

Gov. Soludo and Anambra state under him have been commended as the most tolerant state during this campaign period. Soludo has even allowed Peter Obi to use government facilities for his campaign without paying any fees. Even when APGA candidates comply with the regulations of the signage agency, Labour Party and its Candidates believe they can just rent the billboards without paying required fees to the signage agency.
So far, Peter Obi’s posters and billboards are everywhere but he has refused to pay the fees.
In Anambra, law and order is our first agenda. If Peter Obi and Labour Party cannot play by the rules during campaign, we wonder how they can govern lawfully. Gov. Soludo has nothing to do with the billboards.
The Anambra Signage and Advertisement Agency (ANSAA) is the lawful authority to regulate billboards and also apply sanctions in the case of any default.
In a recent release by the Head of the ANSAA, Mr. Tony Ujubuonu, it was clearly stated that the billboards of the Labour Party was removed after several entreaties by the Agency to the Party and its candidates to meet their legal obligations fell on deaf ears. This level of affront cannot be permitted in a State like Anambra. Moreso by a political Party touting itself as the puritan.
Whereas other parties and candidates comply with directives of the signage agency, Labour Party, believes it is ENTITLED to a different set of rules. This brazen display of lawlessness is, in the least, quite disappointing. Does Labour Party want to operate with different rules away from what others are obedient to?
