Lady, 37, Arrested For Beating Up Man During Public Fight

A man, Ofodile Isaac, will not forget in a hurry the day he engaged his neighbour, a 37-year old lady, Oyinlayefa Okungba, in public fight and he was beaten up mercilessly in Lagos State. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Amodu Fagbohun Street, Obadore area of Igando, Lagos, where they reside.
The lady, shortly called Oyin, has landed in trouble for allegedly dealing with the victim, Isaac, in such an ugly manner by brutally attacking and injuring him in the process. Apart from injuring the victim, Oyin also smashed his mobile phone in the process.
Trouble was said to have started after Isaac and Oyin had a disagreement over an undisclosed matter as neighbours and were constantly having quarrels without engaging in physical contact.
However, on the day of the incident, their disagreement led to physical combat and in the process, Oyin had the upper hand as she beat up Isaac and injured him.
The matter was reported to the Police at Igando Division; she was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over her conduct.
After thorough interrogation, Oyin was found culpable and consequently, she was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for the alleged offence and she pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Benedict Aigbokhan, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. K.A. Ariyo, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
The matter was adjourned while the defendant was remanded in custody pending when the she will perfect her bail conditions.
