A 23-year old lady, Miss Eniola Shittu, has landed in trouble after she reportedly conspired with her lover, David Peremobowe, drugged her close friend and watched her lover have sex with her while she recorded the action.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Somorin area of Obantoko Abeokuta in Ogun State where her lover resides.
Police operatives from the Ogun State Command have arrested both Eniola and her lover, David, for conspiracy and statutory rape, which attracts several years’ imprisonment if they are prosecuted and found guilty in Court.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi. He said that the Police on 27th July, 2019, arrested 23-year old Eniola Shittu (F) of Ikopa tuntun Abiola-way Abeokuta, for conspiring with her boyfriend, David Peremobowe, 31, to rape her close friend (name withheld).
DSP Oyeyemi explained that the suspects were arrested following a report lodged by the victim at Obantoko Police Division that she was at home on 24th July, 2019, at about 1:45pm, when her friend, Eniola Shittu, sent her a message on Whatsapp that she should help her to buy food and ‘skushis’ and bring it to her boyfriend’s house at Somorin area of Obantoko Abeokuta.
On getting there, Eniola’s boyfriend, David Peremobowe, offered the victim a bottle of beer, which she drank without entertaining any suspicion.
However, immediately she finished taking the beer, she became very weak. As a result, Eniola’s lover, David Peremobowe, allegedly had unlawful her carnal knowledge and while he was doing that, her friend, Eniola Shittu, used her phone to do the video recording of how she was being raped.
The Police spokesman said that on the strength of her complaint, the DPO Obantoko Division, SP Olasunkanmi Popoola, detailed his detectives to the scene where David Peremobowe and his girlfriend, Eniola Shittu, were promptly arrested. The Gionee mobile phone with which the video recording was made was also recovered as exhibits.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bashir Makama, has ordered the transfer of the suspects to Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and possible prosecution.
