Lagos Assembly Aspirant Applauds Lagos East APC Peace Pact

A member of All Progressive Congress (APC) and Lagos State House of Assembly aspirant (Somolu Constituency 1) Hon. Maryam Owolabi-Bada has lauded the recent reconciliation meeting held at CMD Event Hall, Magodo, recently in Lagos.
According to Hon. Bada, the move was necessary to put an end to the political crisis that has plagued the constituency especially the Somolu community and its environs in the last couple of years.
Briefing our correspondent at her constituency office recently, she said the reconciliation meeting is long overdue which we believe will bring about a lasting peace.
She adds”I think it’s important to appreciate the efforts of the party leaders and all other relevant groups for bringing the warring parties to eschew peace and work as one progressive party ahead of 2019 election and beyond”.
There’s no doubt that the move will foster unity among party faithful and supporters and also want to thank the warring parties for agreeing to bury their hatchet and allow peace to reign”.
“We need to forget the past and live in harmony to fight a common cause as a party”. she stated
Present at the reconciliation meeting were all party leaders and chairmen from local governments and LCDA’s under Lagos East Senatorial District which include All Progressive Congress (APC) bigwigs Chief Busura Alebiosu, Senator Anthony Adefuye, Alhaji Akanni Seriki (BAMU), State Chairman of the party, Hon. Tunde Balogun, Hon. Shakiru Bayo Osinowo (Peperito).
Others are Hon. Bar. Ademorin Kuye, Hon. Rotimi Olowo, Hon. Omoyele Sulaimon, Hon. Wole Diya, Hon.Abdul-Ahmed Salaudeen (Dullar) and some other notables personalities.
