Lagos Lawmaker Pledges Support For Grassroots Football In Alimosho

A member of Lagos State House of Assembly, Prince Bisi Yusuf has congratulated the organizers on the success of Ahmedida Football Competition which was held recently at Pako football pitch, Iyana- Ipaja, Alimosho.
 
Egbeda All Stars defeated Pako All Stars 4-2 on penalty shootout after one goal apiece at the regulation time to win the competition.
 
Prince Yusuf, who is representing Alimosho Constituency  in the Lagos State House of Assembly also congratulated the winners of the tournament and pledged his committed to sports development in Alimosho.
 
“Let me use this opportunity to congratulate both the organizers and the champions. I am aware of the competition and I am happy that I have the honour to present to the winners and the first runners up the trophies won. I am also a lover of the game and I would continue to support grassroots football so that our youth can be engaged and for them to shun vices that can ruin their lives,” he said.
 
The lawmaker, who chaired the Committee on Public Accounts for Local Government promised to give the  champions N100, 000, while second position get N80, 000
