Lagos Open Tennis: Oyinlomo Quadre Faces Russian Opposition In Q/Final

Nigeria’s Barakat Oyinlomo Quadre has to face and cross the hurdle of a Russia player before she could get to the semi final of the ongoing Lagos Open Tennis taking place at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, Onikan on Friday.

Quadre, 16, made it to her first-ever quarter final, the first for any Nigerian women player in the history of the ITF World Tour in Lagos on Thursday when she beat tournament number 8, Curovic Tamara from Serbia 6-2,1-0. The quarter final fixtures released late on Thursday however, pitched Quadre against the Russian player, who is the number 2 seed in the women’s singles.
