The Management of the Lagos State Sports Commission has reiterated its desire to continue to partner with the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Lagos State Chapter) to develop Sports at the grassroots in the State.

“We are open to criticisms, but it must be constructive, with objectivity, not based on falsehood because it is our belief that nobody is perfect.

“There is always room to do things better, so we can continue to have a cordial, interesting and intriguing relationship to achieve the ultimate goal of developing Sports in the State because our ambition is to move Sports Associations forward in Lagos State,” Gafaar said, while thanking the Sports Journalists for the visit.

Osundun, who was re-elected unopposed into Office during a recent election of the Lagos SWAN, told the Director General that Sports administration has never had it so good since the present dispensation at the Commission assumed office, adding that “we have not been having it as good as this before this new administration at the Lagos State Sports Commission.

“I want to say that the Executive Chairman and the Director General have been very supportive to Lagos SWAN, and this visit is to come and say ” Thank you” for all the Lagos State Sports Commission has been doing for us.
“In terms of our members’ welfare , the Commission has been supportive and we appreciate this and many other things we have been receiving. Like Oliver Twist, we are asking for more from you.

“We are ready to work together for the good of Sports in Lagos State and also for Athletes development in the state.”
