Posted on March 13, 2023

Residents and stakeholders of Lagos State Staff Quarters, Alausa Ikeja, yesterday restated their full support for the re-election of Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK) for Lagos State Governor and Ikeja Constituency 2 House of Assembly on the platform of APC respectively.
They made this declaration on Sunday 12th March, 2023, when Hon. Kasunmu and Gov Sanwo-Olu’s team visited the quarters in continuation of their grassroots consultation and mobilisation toward the success of the state elections slated for March 18th.

Ambassador Bestman Nze-Jumbo led the Governor’s team alongside other chieftains of the State ICC such as Chief Kunle Familola (KOB), Alhaji Alayaki, Uche Nze-Jumbo from UK and others.

The residents seized the opportunity to pour out their minds and also emphasized on the need for the leadership of the state both at party and governmental levels, to emulate the method and ways things were done during Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as Lagos Governor, when no part of the state was left untouched in terms of political inclusion.

Responding on behalf of the team, Hon. Kasunmu commended the residents for their long standing loyalty and consistency, stating that more benefits and dividends of democracy will be channelled to the community in the coming dispensation.
He then appealed to them to mobilise their people massively and come out enmass to vote for Governor Sanwo-Olu and himself this Saturday, promising to carry the estate along in all programmes and activities of the State and Constituency going forward.
In his response, the Chairman of the Quarters, Mr. Dele Oyasipe, who anchored the meeting, thanked the team for the visit and assured them of maximum mobilisation of voters for the success of the APC on 18th March.
The team later moved straight to Oke-ira Ogba to join Barr. Wale Ajala and other leaders at the stakeholders meeting of Ndigbo in Ojodu LCDA.
Meanwhile, Hon. Kasunmu’s visit to other communities continues today.
