Lagos SWAN CHAIRMAN Olatutu Oladunni Honoured As Celebrity Crush TV Media Personality Of The Year

It was a remarkable day for one of the most outstanding media companies in economic lifestyle, nation building, politics, paparazzi, TV magazine, Africa and celebrity Crush TV as it gathers reputable personalities, political office holders, royals from various works of life to its corporate annual conference and celebrity award at Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event, which was held recently in Ikeja, Lagos with a corporate grand appearance, aimed at promoting African personalities and distinct socialites across the continent via carefully selection process by the executive board members and standard professionals who makes up screening committees had a collection of people with laudable records across different works of life to be recipients of the awards.

Chairman Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Lagos state chapter, Olatutu Oladunni, alongside the General Overseer of MFM, Dr D.K Olukoya, the Seriki Overall Arewa of Alimosho LG, Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, ADC Governorship candidate in Ogun State amongst other recipients of the Awards of Excellence.

Olatutu Oladunni  was honoured as the Celebrity Crush TV Media Personality of the Year, for her exemplary media leadership style in Lagos SWAN, demonstration of excellence and her exceptional contributions in the media sector coupled with humanitarian empowerment approach to life.

The Lagos SWAN Chairman thanked the organisers and dedicated the award to God Almighty her creator and to all dedicated Hardworking media  professionals across the nation.

At the award ceremony, she in turn recognised her child, David-Ronaldo as one of the core motivations to her success.


Olatutu Oladunni, who also got double recognition as a Special Guest of Honour  and  Guest Speaker at the conference,  delivered on the topic “Power of Social Media As A Tool For National And Social Economic Development.

As part of the vision of the organisers of the award and conference, the lecture is to inspire the society across Africa via the annual conference to discuss burning issues with the aim of seeking a positive solution and developmental framework to the socio-economic wellbeing of the nation.

The Lagos SWAN Chairman in her lecture highlighted the importance of social media, adding that though an integrating weapon, it can both make or mar any society.  While harnessing positivity, she said social media has become an essential tool to achieve utmost productivity in the society building and economic advancement.


If not harnesses intelligently, it becomes a thorn that might become difficult to eradicate except a strong adoption of emotional intelligence with great persuasion skill to change narrative if duly explore.

She noted that to every innovation and invention, there is usually a merit and demerit.  Even the Holy Bible confirms this in the book of Ecclesiastes that there is time for everything under the heaven.

Oladunni said even though social media is one of the most powerful platforms to reach out to the larger heterogeneous audience across the world, she implores everyone to make it a responsibility to always make a good choice.

In the same vein, the representative of the General Overseer of MFM, Pastor Abayomi Gabriel, while receiving the award on behalf of Dr Olukoya, said that making a good choice is always important and for every decision making, one must involve God.

He therefore thanked the organisers of the awards for the special recognition given to the General Overseer of MFM Ministry worldwide.

Other recipients of the awards are personalities from creative industries, movie industries, corporate institutions and others
