Lagos Table Tennis Association, Ojez Hold U-13 Tourney At Rowe Park

The Lagos State Table Tennis Association in collaboration with Ojez entertainment have put together a Table Tennis Clinic for Students between age  10 –13 years who have very little knowledge of the sport.

Forty eight students from 8 schools in the Education District 4 (Sabo, Yaba Axis) have been invited to learn the theory & rudiments  of Table Tennis from Wednesday 20th – Friday 22nd November 2019 at the Indoor Sports Hall, Rowe Park Sports Center, Yaba.

The three-Day Coaching Clinic will include Theory and Rudiments of Table Tennis on the first two days and a Mini Championship will be held  amongst  participating Schools on the Final day.

This edition,  is the pilot scheme, and the Association  hopes to take this Clinic round the six Education districts in Lagos State with the aim of gaining the interest of the youth in the sport, nurture talents, so that ultimately within the next four years,  a young team that would be champions in the junior category will have been groomed.

Furthermore, the discovered players from this edition will have the opportunity of playing at the 51st edition of the Asoju Oba Molade Okoya Thomas Memorial Championship scheduled for 25th – 29th November 2019.
