Lawal Speaks About His Current Form At Prince Kazeem Eletu

Prince Kazeem Eletu Midfielder, Sulaiman Lawal has revealed that his current form is as a result of instruction receiving from head coach, Bilal Sousdi.

Lawal said this after he was selected as the man of the match when his team played against Williams Fala Football Club in a friendly match played at Eagles Club, Surulere, Lagos.

The friendly match which was watched by appreciable crowd ended 3-1 in favour of Eletu Boys.

Lawal whose performance was outstanding in the encounter told journalists that he is committed to Eletu and ready to take his football to the next level. He however thanked coaching crew led by Bilal Sousdi for giving him playing time in the club to showcase his God given talents.

“It has been long I have played like this. My performance against Williams Fala was quite amazing. I want to attribute my performance as a result of instruction receiving from the coaching crew. Let me assure my fans that I will continue to do better in subsequent matches,” he said.

Eletu coach, Sousdi expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance noted that his team were technically better than their opponents.

Meanwhile Daniel Mbonu opened the goal scoring for Eletu in the early match. Obasi Jude and Precious Agu were on rampage as both scored in the 17th and 21th minutes to extend the scoreline.

The three goals spurred Eletu’s opponents to reduce the tally through Adekunle Ayotinwa in the 42th minutes. Both team missed scoring chances in the second half before Lawal scored superb goal to condemn their opponents to total defeat.

Williams Fala Coach, Olayiwola Lasisi blamed their defeat as a result of his goal keeper who was not at his best in the encounter. He also said the club just resumed back from New Year holiday which also responsible for their scandalous defeat.

Prince Kazeem Eletu would travel to Ibadan to face Ilaji FC on Friday in a friendly match promises to be exciting.
